- Bachelor of Technology, Institute of Technology, BHU (1988).
- Master of Design in Visual Communication, Industrial Design Centre, IIT, Bombay   (1991).


Professional experience:

- More than 18 years of experience in the Animation and Gaming Industries.
- Vice President, FXLabs Studios, Hyderabad. He was also the Game Producer of an   international video game title. (2003-2008).
- Vice President and CTO, Danlaw Technologies India Limited, Hyderabad   (2001- 2003).
- Vice President and CTO, DQ Entertainment, Hyderabad (2000-2001).
- Independent Consultant in Animation for HCL Technologies Ltd.
- Founder, Animatix Studios, Chennai (1994-1999), during which time he completed   a 13X22 minutes cartoon animation serial in Hindi called “Tara Ki Duniya” which   was telecast on the National Television Network in India.
- Worked freelance on several commercials, Children’s Programmes, Feature Film   Special Effects, Book Illustrations and Comic Books.
- Member of the jury, FICCI Frames Best Animation film Awards, 2008 and 2009
